“Amazing walking tour with Sandy Baptie!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 27, 2014
Thinking that a walking tour would be a good idea to orient ourselves on day 1 of our week long visit to N'Awlins, our group of 5 had NO IDEA how amazing our guide Sandy Baptie would be!! She had maps, both old and new to show us to enhance our understanding of the area, and she had a complete command of New Orleans history, geography and politics. She answered every question posed. She was so knowledgeable and generous with her information sharing. THANKS, Sandy....you made our trip outstanding!!
“Super Tour!” Reviewed January 24, 2014 The tour was a wonderful experience and a very positive, intimate way to learn about New Orleans' history. Sandy Baptie was a very pleasant, well-informed, articulate, and knowledgeable guide who provided us with an indepth understanding of some of the highlights of New Orleans historical sites and policies. A definite must in New Orleans!
“Wonderful walking tour of the French Quarter” Reviewed January 16, 2013 We had a great tour given by architect/ tour guide Sandra Baptie that started at the 1850's House in Jackson Square. We came as a family of seven and each one of us really found the various parts of the tour unique to our individual interests. Her focus outlined the various types of vernacular architecture and urban design strategies of the French Quarter. We very much enjoyed the two hour walking tour and I would highly recommend this to anyone visiting the area.
